Founder
Dr. José Mateos is a nuclear medicine physician trained in Hospital Clinic, one of the most prestigious hospitals in Spain. He developed a degree thesis focused on neuroimaging related to parkinsonism, mood disorders and schizophrenia. In 2004, he worked as a medical advisor in General Electric, undertaking Imaging studies with different contrast agents, radiolabel isotopes and other imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET, NM).
In 2008, he founded an imaging CRO in Barcelona, managing oncological and neurological research. Ten years later, he inaugurated new offices in Madrid and initiated his new core lab project.
In 2016, Dr. Jose Mateos, aligned with other partners, founded a CRO called 4CT. In 2018 Anagram, a consolidated Spanish CRO, was integrated in the group bringing extensive cardiovascular and neurology experience. IEC and Anagram work together to combine thorough knowledge and experience on image treatment in clinical trials with operational and management acumen.

Our team has more than 10 years’ experience in dealing with successful integration of medical imaging endpoints in clinical trials.
